Each package includes a detailed written report supported by historical documents and images where available. Once your research is complete, we'll arrange either an online presentation or an in-person meeting (where practical) to guide you through our findings, answer your questions and help you understand your family's remarkable story.

Discovering A Soldier Package

Price: £250

Follow the journey of an ancestor who served during the First World War.

This package traces your ancestor's military service from enlistment through to the end of the war wherever surviving records allow. Alongside their personal story, we'll explore the experiences of their battalion or regiment, the battles they fought, the places they served and the conditions they endured.

Rather than simply presenting military records, we place your ancestor within the wider story of the Great War, helping you understand not only what happened to them, but what life was like for the men who served alongside them.

Paternal Package

Price: £350

An ideal starting point for discovering your family history.

This package focuses on your direct paternal line, tracing your father's side of the family back three generations. We'll research your parents, grandparents and great-grandparents while beginning the foundations of your family tree.

Along the way we'll uncover occupations, addresses, newspaper articles, military service, family events and other fascinating details that help transform names and dates into real people.

Paternal and Maternal Package

Price: £500

Discover both sides of your family's story.

This package explores your maternal and paternal family lines, tracing both branches back three generations to create a broader picture of your heritage.

As well as building your family tree, we'll identify particularly interesting ancestors and investigate their lives in greater detail, helping you understand how your family lived, worked and experienced the changing world around them.
